Back To The Farm June 14-18
Ages 3 to 5
Spend a week on “our farm”. Plant fruit and vegetable seeds, make butter and jam, bake bread, square dance, and enjoy your own homemade ice cream. Grab your hat and join the fun as we ride in wheelbarrows, pretend to be farm animals, and sing silly songs at the farm.
Clay Camp June 21-25
Ages 4 to 8
Pinch, squish, smash, roll! Explore hand building with clay and experiment, create and design. Grab a mound of clay and get creative as we make pinch pots, coil pots and roll slabs. Build your box of treasures and present your masterpieces at your own art show.
Construction Zone July 12-16
Ages 3 to 5
Get ready to dig, mix, and build! Create buildings, roads, and whole cities with construction blocks, diggers, front-loaders and bulldozers! Dress up in construction worker safety clothes and use tools, mix “cement” and make 3D sculptures. Let your imagination run wild on our construction and demolition teams.
Herpetology July 19-23
Ages 4 to 8
Explore the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles with Davidson College Herpetology Professor Steve Price. Discover and learn about amphibian and reptile ecology and conservation up-close with a variety of animals. Bring your curiosity, questions, and inquisitive mind to a week of wonder.
Junk & Treasures August 2-6
Ages 3 to 5
One person’s junk is another’s treasure. Explore, tinker, discover and we take apart small appliances, old gadgets and computers. Bring your imagination to our station. Invent new appliances and create one of a kind artwork and wind chimes as we turn junk into new treasures.
Kid’s Café August 9-13
Ages 4 to 8
Run the Kid’s Café! Young chefs will plan a menu, make grocery lists, wash produce, set a table, take orders, make their own spice blends, harvest fresh produce from our raised bed garden and cook and eat their own snacks.

Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis starting February 23, 2010, for current and alumni Schoolhouse families and February 27th for the general public. If a camp session is full, then all remaining applicants will be placed on waitlist. Additional spots will likely be added for high demand camps.
For Schoolhouse families – Registration will begin on February 23rd at 8:30 am. The Schoolhouse Camp Coordinator will be at the Schoolhouse on February 23rd and 24th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am and from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm each day. Schoolhouse families are encouraged to register their child(ren) in person during these days. All registrations received through the mail will be processed based on the day they are received at the Schoolhouse.
For The Public – Registration will begin on February 27th at 9:30 am. The Schoolhouse Camp Coordinator will be at the Schoolhouse on February 27th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm for camp registration. A second in person time will be held on March 1st from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Schoolhouse. Parents are encouraged to register their child(ren) in person during these days. Registrations received through the mail will be processed after the onsite registrations and will be based on the day they are received at the Schoolhouse.
You will be notified during onsite registration about the session(s) to which you have been admitted. For registrations received via mail, you will be notified by email within one week of receiving your registration form. If you do not have email, we will notify you by phone. If the camp(s) requested is full, your tuition check will be returned.
Tuition is $120 per child, per session for non Schoolhouse families and $100 per child per session for Schoolhouse families. There is no sibling or multiple camp discount.
Tuition is due in full at the time of registration.
Once a child has been admitted to a camp session, tuition is non-refundable.
